Amanda Burton
I truly love being a Massage Therapist. Each day that I get to come to work and help others live with less pain and less stress is an affirmation that I am doing what I am meant to do. I came to massage as a second career after years spent working too many hours and living with an unhealthy amount of stress. I understand first hand the impact this has on the body and mind.
I studied Clinical Massage Therapy at The Soma Institute in Chicago, IL and completed an externship at the Rehabilition Institute of Chicago. I have worked with clients dealing with a variety of medical conditions and physical issues and ranging in age from 7 to 97. I believe in making each massage as customized to the individual and their needs as I can. I pride myself on proving treatments that are productive, effective and still offer a peaceful, relaxing experience. Whether you are comfortable with deep trigger point work, in need of stretching and mobilizations, or prefer a lighter touch, I know we can work together to accomplish good things for your body. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns or comments.
